I'm Kim Archuletta and I'm running for Pueblo County Treasurer.
I want to be the change in leadership that Pueblo County needs. I want to be a fresh set of eyes to bring new ideas into the Treasurer's Office. I want to keep the community informed about relevant issues when it comes to property taxes and run a cost effective and efficient organization. With my education and work experience, I am confident I can be the change that Pueblo County needs.
I have two beautiful children; Ashlee is 24 and Ryan is 11. I was raised to appreciate and value family, both of my parents worked very hard to provide a good life for me and my older brother. My father dedicated 42 years at the steel mill and my mother dedicated 31 years at school district 60. I was taught that hard work and an education will take me far in life and I'm appreciative for the life my parents gave me. It's these values that have lead me to where I am today. I enjoy going to the movies, laughing with my friends and creating memories. I hope I can inspire other women, especially single mothers; to be brave and let go of any self doubts; we can all wear crowns! I don't strive to be successful, I strive to be valued- value lasts longer than success. I'm a Sagittarius and I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color.
As Treasurer I will:
Keep the community informed about relevant issues with transparency and accountability.
Implement innovation and maximize modern technologies to improve access and convenience for citizens.
Manage and operate a cost effective and efficient department.
